The description of this house was accurate in every way. The owners were very helpful and
responsive before and during our stay. This was a great value for the number of people in our party
(11) and the proximity to the beach. The elevator was great for arrival and departure. There are lots of
games, toys, beach towels and tons of movies. The kitchen is very well stocked. Having two
refrigerators was a great bonus. We enjoyed going to the beach every day and it was never crowded.
Barefoot Bernie's was our favorite restaurant. We discovered Sandy Run Park in Kitty Hawk and were
fortunate to happen to see two, what we believe were, Sharp Shinned Hawks learning to fly. Amazing
accidental treat. The park is nice for walking, biking and picnicking. It was nice to be near many
restaurants and attractions and yet at a very quiet beach.

Helpful votes:3/3.         We booked this house over the Thanksgiving weekend to spend time with
some family in the area. The house was absolutely fantastic, better than we expected. We had four
adults and one infant in our party, and while the house was certainly too large for us, it was the same
price as so many of the smaller ones, and had all the amenities that we wanted. We brought our two
dogs with us on the trip, and they just loved the additional space, and the doggie door gave us all a
break. The two cribs included in the rental were a life-saver, since we didn't have to transport
something for the baby to sleep in. There was a baby gate at the top of the stairs, enough space for
us to have the rest of the family over for dinner the one evening, and the hot tub was a delightful way
to end the day. My mother-in-law, who has some minor disabilities, found the elevator to be very
useful! We had a minor issue with the heat in the one bedroom on our first night there, but by the
second night it had cleared up on its own, so we didn't even need to call the owner. The house was
easy to find, VERY CLEAN, and in the heart of everything. If we travel to OBX again, this house will be
our first choice!

marriage, and we travelled to OBX from TN on our Harley-Davidsons. Packing space was limited, but
we found that we needed very little, this home was the most well-stocked vacation home we have ever
rented. Dale and Cynthia are very easy to work with, and everything we were promised we received. It
was an easy walk to the beach, even for us 40-somethings :) The neighborhood is very nice and quiet,
with several restaurants nearby. Barefoot Bernie's was a big hit; their "happy hour" from 2 - 5pm with
all you can eat 10 cent shrimp and 25 cent wings is a must-do. Our group greatly enjoyed the hot tub
and tiki room, as well as the ping-pong table. We really enjoyed the ferry ride from Hatteras to
Okracoke. Highly recommend this clean, well appointed, very comfortable home.

time. This beach house is well equipped everything you need to feel right at home, plus many extras.
The well stocked beach toys & accessories were a hit with us, as was the extensive DVD collection for
night time relaxing. The house was very spacious and more than easily accomodated the 9 of us. The
downstairs suite quickly became know as the "dorm" for our 13 year old girls. They loved having their
own space which was adjacent to the awesome game room! We loved having our own bathrooms and
the most comfy king sized beds. The hot tub was perfect for our week of cooler spring evenings. The
location of this beach house is great-on a very quiet street where our kids could skate and play
games, while still keeping us so close (easy walking distance) to the beach. The spacious, well
equipped kitchen made preparing, serving, and eating meals a blast. We highly recommend this rental
to families looking for a great vacation.

The kids loved the movies, the games, and their bedroom downstairs! This was a Home Away from
Home with plenty of space for our two families. We'll definitely be back soon! Thanks for making our
vacation something we will never forget! From All of Us! :)

adults), enjoyed the ping pong table - - not to mention the blackjack tournament! We appreciate all of
the "extra" things you have - we are already making our plans for next summer!
